Russian‑Speaking Social Media Specialist (On‑site)

About the role

The university is looking for a Russian‑speaking professional to manage its social media presence in both Russian and English. The role combines content creation, community engagement and performance analysis to support the institution’s communication strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the university’s social media channels in Russian and English, planning, creating and publishing posts aligned with the communication strategy.
• Monitor platforms daily, engage with followers, respond to inquiries and moderate comments to protect the brand reputation.
• Coordinate social media campaigns for events and programmes, analyse performance metrics and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Collaborate with marketing, admissions and academic teams to source content, ensure consistent messaging and support broader university goals.
• Maintain a social media content calendar and ensure timely publication of all posts.

Required profile

• Fluent written and verbal Russian; good proficiency in English for internal coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Languages or a related field; prior experience in social media or digital communication preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Required skills

• Social media management across major platforms (content planning, scheduling, community engagement).
• Basic social media analytics and reporting with ability to interpret data.
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts such as audience targeting, brand positioning and campaign execution.
