About the role
The Sales Assistant Manager will lead the Board business sales activities across an assigned territory, driving both short‑term targets and long‑term growth. This role focuses on B2B sales, transforming product offerings into comprehensive solutions for packaging customers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage sales operations for the Board product line, meeting budget and allocation targets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring high service standards.
- Plan and coordinate sales activities, including forecasting, territory planning and performance monitoring.
- Build and motivate a sales force in key international markets, fostering a solution‑selling approach.
- Oversee P&L accountability for the assigned region.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA preferred.
- 8‑10 years of commercial management experience in board products or related packaging sectors.
- Proven track record of managing sizable regional commercial activities.
- Strong understanding of packaging market dynamics and international trading terms.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills.
- Leadership, people‑management and resilience with a hands‑on attitude.
- Fluent in English.
