About the role

The Sales Assistant will support the IKEA Jebel Ali market hall by delivering excellent customer service and driving sales. Working under the shopkeeper, you will help keep the sales floor organized and ensure a welcoming environment for shoppers.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards to create a sparkling, organized environment.
  • Arrange products on the sales floor and support operational duties assigned by the shopkeeper.
  • Achieve or exceed weekly sales targets.
  • Participate in regular market‑hall inventory counts.
  • Attend all store meetings and related functions.
  • Follow IKEA policies and procedures meticulously.
  • Greet customers promptly with a smile and provide accurate product information.
  • Record sales transactions accurately.

  • Friendly, engaging personality with a professional attitude.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers and management.
  • Punctuality and flexibility to adhere to the designated work schedule.
  • Strong focus on delivering a positive customer experience.
