Sales Director – UAE, Saudi Arabia & Export Markets

About the role

Our client, a leading player in lighting and building technologies, is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead the commercial organization across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and export markets. The role oversees the full commercial cycle from lead generation to revenue realization, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate geographic sales teams in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and export territories.
• Direct the Estimation function through the Estimation Manager and align market‑specific teams.
• Set commercial priorities, delegate authority, define team objectives and monitor performance for Sales and Estimation.
• Facilitate collaboration between Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service.
• Develop succession plans and nurture future sales leaders.
• Translate annual revenue, margin and order‑intake targets into actionable sales plans.
• Maintain a balanced opportunity pipeline and implement corrective actions when performance deviates from plan.
• Ensure disciplined use of the CRM system for lead creation, management and qualification.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of sales leadership experience, preferably in lighting, building technologies or related industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of managing multi‑regional commercial teams and delivering revenue growth.
• Strong strategic thinking with ability to set clear priorities and drive execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions.
• Demonstrated capability to develop talent and build succession pipelines.
