Sales Manager – Middle East

About the role

We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead our growth across the Middle East, building strong customer relationships and expanding Damen’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and business development activities in the assigned territories.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers, agents, government entities, port operators, contractors and marine companies.
• Identify market opportunities, convert leads into commercial success and negotiate quotations, contracts and pricing.
• Coordinate with internal teams such as engineering, legal, finance, services and project management.
• Monitor market developments and provide strategic commercial insights to senior management.
• Represent Damen at industry events, trade fairs, conferences and customer meetings.
• Support customers throughout the sales lifecycle, including after‑sales activities and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales, business development or commercial experience in the Middle East.
• Experience in the maritime, marine, offshore, shipbuilding or capital goods industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
