Seasonal Palace Host – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

The Palace Host is a seasonal, six‑month position at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, part of the Anantara brand. You will be the primary point of contact for in‑house guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and secure while supporting the resort’s high‑end service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage arrival and departure procedures according to the Palace Host SOP.
• Maintain guest privacy, security, and up‑to‑date guest history files.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities, and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Upsell rooms and additional hotel services.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently.
• Drive hotel buggies after passing the buggy driving test.
• Ensure the Palace Host pantry is stocked and operational.
• Report any issues or unusual matters to the Duty Manager promptly.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) experience in hospitality guest services or a similar role.
• Ability to work proactively, maintain high communication standards, and take corrective actions for safety.
• Full knowledge of hotel facilities, departments, and service outlets.
• Willingness to work onsite for the full six‑month season.
