About the role

Jebel Ali School, an Outstanding British‑curriculum school in Dubai, is seeking a passionate Secondary Music Teacher to join the team from August 2026. You will deliver engaging music lessons to students aged 11‑18, fostering both artistic development and academic achievement.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver music curriculum aligned with the English National Curriculum, GCSE, BTEC and A‑Level requirements.
• Assess student progress using appropriate assessment practices and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to pastoral care, supporting students’ social and emotional wellbeing.
• Collaborate with colleagues on cross‑curricular projects and school events.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified secondary teacher with a B.Ed. and/or PGCE.
• Proven track record of outstanding results in secondary music education.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and Wales.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and pastoral care.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude.
