Senior Account Manager I

About the role

Careem is looking for a Senior Account Manager to lead merchant relationships for Careem Express in a new city. You will be the primary point of contact for key merchants, driving growth while ensuring a seamless operational experience.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new accounts through prospecting, pitching, contract negotiations and go‑live support.
• Achieve monthly GMV targets by onboarding new merchants and expanding business with existing accounts.
• Manage tier‑1 (key) client relationships and act as their trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to balance feasibility, cost and client experience.
• Negotiate commercial terms and monitor gross margin, AR collections and other performance metrics.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of sales and account management experience in food aggregation or on‑demand logistics.
• Proven track record of revenue generation.
• Business‑development mindset combined with strong operational detail orientation.
• Problem‑solver with high energy for a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Fluent Arabic speaker (mandatory).
