Senior Accountant – Construction Finance

About the role

A leading construction company in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role involves managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with VAT regulations. You will work independently while supporting day‑to‑day finance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial reports and support monthly closing processes.
• Handle VAT‑related accounting requirements and ensure compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain financial data accuracy using Excel and accounting software.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of VAT, reconciliations, payables, and receivables.
• Good command of Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
