Senior Accountant – UAE Tax & Accounting

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to support our clients in maintaining accurate financial records and complying with UAE tax regulations. The role involves preparing draft financial statements, assisting with corporate tax filings, and ensuring VAT compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing draft financial statements and supporting documentation in line with IFRS and UAE accounting standards.
• Gather and organize data for annual Corporate Tax calculations and filings.
• Support senior team members to ensure compliance with the latest UAE Corporate Tax regulations.
• Provide bookkeeping, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance for clients.
• Enter data accurately and reconcile VAT accounts.
• Stay updated on UAE tax laws and accounting standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of UAE tax regulations, including Corporate Tax and VAT.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, or Xero.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
