Senior Architect – Site Supervision

About the role

Egis is seeking a Senior Architect to lead site supervision activities across its Middle East projects. The role involves ensuring that all architectural works comply with contract documents, quality standards, and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and monitor architectural works to guarantee conformance with contract documents and the procedures manual.
• Review and process all architectural technical submittals and respond to related RFIs.
• Coordinate and supervise architectural activities, including change order proposals and claims.
• Lead coordination with other disciplines and sub‑consultants.
• Manage architectural inspectors and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assist in inspection of completed works, and monitor start‑up, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Sign off on completed architectural works and ensure complete documentation.
• Prepare weekly planning and progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Middle East, with 6‑8 years in a UAE or regional international consultancy.
• Strong technical knowledge of exterior envelope details and material interfaces.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to review and provide feedback on technical documentation.
• Comprehensive understanding of project specifications and authority requirements.
