About the role

The Senior Charge Nurse Unit Manager leads the pediatric unit in Tower A6, ensuring 24/7 high‑quality patient care aligned with SSMC’s vision and values. This senior position oversees operational, fiscal, and personnel activities while fostering a compassionate, safe environment for children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and evaluate daily operations of the pediatric unit.
• Manage the unit’s budget and allocate resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with dyad and triad partners from operations and medical teams to ensure smooth unit functioning.
• Promote shared decision‑making and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Maintain compliance with current nursing standards and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with extensive clinical experience in pediatrics.
• Proven leadership experience in a hospital unit management role.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
