Senior Collection Agent (UAE Nationals Only)

About the role

The Senior Collection Agent will lead the collection of overdue student and client accounts for Ajman University. This position supervises a team of collection agents, coordinates with the Legal Office and external agencies, and ensures compliance with institutional policies and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive lists of overdue accounts in collaboration with Accounts Receivable and Student Accounts.
• Supervise collection agents, set daily targets, monitor performance, and produce regular reports for management.
• Handle escalated cases, provide guidance on follow‑up actions, and ensure timely legal notice issuance.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies, verify documentation, and track case progress.
• Communicate professionally with students and clients, negotiate payment arrangements, and maintain positive relationships.
• Update payment records, adjustments, and follow‑up notes in the system and close daily registers accurately.
• Analyse collection trends, cash‑flow impacts, and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Proven supervisory experience and ability to lead a team.
• Strong analytical judgment, negotiation skills, and knowledge of financial regulations.
• Flexibility to work during admissions peaks and other high‑volume periods.
