Senior Conflicts Manager – Asia & Middle East

About the role

Walkers Global is seeking an experienced Senior Conflicts Manager to join its Office of the General Counsel. The role will be based in Dubai (or Hong Kong or Singapore) and will focus on analysing, advising on and resolving conflicts of interest, client confidentiality and information barrier matters across the firm’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead a specialised team of conflicts professionals.
• Conduct conflict checks for share‑dealing requests, lateral hires and commercial transactions.
• Advise business units on compliance with regulations, professional conduct rules and contractual obligations related to conflicts of interest.
• Maintain and enhance policies, controls and processes, including the use of technology such as Intapp.
• Collaborate with the Director of Conflicts to standardise procedures across the Walkers group.

Required profile

• Significant experience in compliance, legal or professional services dealing with conflicts of interest.
• Strong knowledge of client confidentiality, information barriers and market abuse regulations.
• Proven ability to manage complex, sensitive matters and to influence senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai, Hong Kong or Singapore.
