Senior Consultant Internal Medicine – Adult Care (UAE)

About the role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its adult medical services. The organization seeks a senior Consultant in Internal Medicine to deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care for a diverse, international patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultant‑level assessment and management of acute and chronic adult conditions.
• Lead inpatient rounds, coordinate diagnostics, develop treatment plans and oversee discharge processes.
• Manage complex comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac and renal diseases.
• Facilitate referrals to subspecialists and ensure continuity of care across settings.
• Supervise junior doctors, promote evidence‑based protocols and participate in clinical governance.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and uphold medication safety standards in line with UAE regulations.

Required profile

• Internationally recognised internal medicine qualification (e.g., ABIM, MRCP, FRCP, FRACP, Arab Board, MD/DNB/FCPS).
• Eligibility for UAE medical licensing and facility credentialing.
• Experience in managing complex adult patients in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
