Senior Development Manager – Healthcare Facilities

About the role

Al‑Futtaim Health is looking for a Senior Development Manager to lead the planning, design and delivery of new hospitals, clinics and specialist facilities in Dubai Festival City. You will work closely with the Managing Director and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are commercially viable, clinically appropriate and delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic plans for healthcare real‑estate and facility‑development projects, ensuring alignment with Al‑Futtaim Health’s overall strategy.
• Manage full project lifecycles, including timelines, budgets, resources and operational readiness.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to monitor commercial viability and risk.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams such as Finance, Design, Procurement, Project Delivery, Asset Management and Marketing.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with healthcare, construction and regulatory standards.
• Advise on medical and biomedical equipment planning, selection, technical assessment and negotiate with suppliers.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry with proven involvement in healthcare real‑estate or hospital/clinic development.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare markets, operational requirements and medical/biomedical equipment planning.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex project timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships.
