Senior Engineer - Water (Hydrology & Stormwater)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Water specialising in hydrology and stormwater to join our Transport & Infrastructure team in the UAE. The role involves designing and delivering drainage and flood risk solutions for major infrastructure and land‑development projects while supporting technical leadership within the discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct hydrological assessments, drainage studies, flood risk analyses and develop stormwater management designs.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrological modelling using tools such as InfoWorks ICM, HEC‑RAS and Flood Modeller.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, design drawings and support authority submissions.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated project delivery and manage design risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Water or related engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in hydrology, stormwater management and drainage design, preferably on UAE infrastructure projects.
• Working towards Chartered Engineer status or equivalent accreditation is desirable.
