Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will lead risk‑based audits across IMI’s functions, ensuring compliance with internal policies, applicable laws, and International Internal Audit Standards. The role involves planning, executing, and reporting on audits while providing actionable recommendations to improve controls and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate internal audit assignments, including opening meetings and documentation of audit plans.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop testing strategies, and prepare detailed audit programs.
• Execute audit fieldwork, test controls, and evaluate compliance with policies and regulations.
• Document findings, prepare comprehensive audit reports, and present results to the Group Internal Audit Director.
• Maintain audit working papers, update risk registers, and track management responses.
• Provide regular status updates and ensure audit deliverables meet quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit, preferably in a senior capacity.
• Strong understanding of International Internal Audit Standards and internal audit manuals.
• Ability to assess risks, design testing strategies, and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentation.
