Senior Internal Auditor – Odoo ERP (Dubai)

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Internal Auditor with deep experience in Odoo ERP to audit financial and operational processes across accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouses and branches. The role involves tracing transactions from source documents through Odoo modules to the final ledger and reporting directly to ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk‑based reviews of financial and operational transactions in Odoo, including manual journal entries, adjustments and back‑dated entries.
• Audit end‑to‑end sales, purchasing and inventory cycles, performing three‑way matching and verifying pricing, discounts and credit limits.
• Test user access rights, segregation of duties and develop Odoo exception reports for continuous monitoring.
• Review cash, banking, expense reimbursements and ensure proper approvals and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual audit plans, maintain an audit tracker and submit findings directly to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Auditing.
• 3–6 years of internal or external audit experience, preferably in trading, distribution, retail or manufacturing.
• Practical experience with Odoo ERP is mandatory.
• Currently based in the UAE or willing to relocate to Dubai.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing modules).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data reconciliation).
• Data analysis and audit reporting techniques.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate‑tax accounting requirements.
