Senior IT Field Technician

About the role

The Senior IT Field Technician provides on‑site technical assistance to end users in healthcare facilities across Dubai. Working under the Clinical and Infrastructure Managed Services team, the role ensures that IT hardware, software, and network systems operate smoothly and supports critical clinical workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to hospitals and clinics to diagnose and resolve issues on end‑user devices, peripherals and medical technologies.
• Support Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Oracle Health (Cerner) and troubleshoot workflow‑impacting problems.
• Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and repair hardware, software and network components, including Wi‑Fi and basic network configuration.
• Coordinate with Biomedical Engineering, vendors and application teams for device integration and connectivity issues.
• Escalate complex incidents to Level 2/Level 3 support, managed service providers or vendors.
• Maintain accurate service records, technical documentation, knowledge articles and asset inventories.
• Participate in workstation refreshes, infrastructure deployments, EMR implementations and new site openings.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering field technical support in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to travel to multiple sites and work independently on‑site.
• Strong communication skills to interact with caregivers, staff and technical teams.
• Attention to detail for maintaining compliance with security policies and healthcare regulations.
