Senior Maintenance Technician – Instrumentation & Control

About the role

The Senior Maintenance Technician will lead the installation, commissioning, repair and upkeep of electronic, pneumatic, mechanical and analytical instruments as well as control systems across operating areas. The role ensures compliance with HSE guidelines, maintenance procedures and the Permit to Work system while supporting plant shutdowns and new plant start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair instrumentation and control systems in line with operational standards.
• Supervise and participate in ESD system testing, plant shutdowns and commissioning activities.
• Oversee technicians, fitters and contractors to ensure safe and timely execution of work.
• Troubleshoot minor control issues and report major discrepancies for prompt resolution.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, forecast future needs and arrange procurement of tools and test equipment.
• Verify maintenance records, fault reports and log books for accurate tracking.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years (72 months) of relevant experience in instrumentation and control maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with contractors.
• Strong understanding of HSE practices and Permit to Work procedures.
• Ability to work onsite in a high‑hazard industrial environment.
