Senior Market Access Manager – Pharma (UAE)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Market Access Manager to lead payer engagement, reimbursement and pricing strategies for a specialty pharmaceutical portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas in the UAE. Based in Dubai, you will own the end‑to‑end access process, from strategy development to launch readiness, ensuring patients receive timely access to innovative medicines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive market access strategy for the portfolio in the UAE.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, health authorities and key stakeholders.
• Lead reimbursement submissions, formulary listings and negotiate access agreements.
• Create localized value propositions using health‑technology assessment (HTA) models, real‑world evidence and payer data.
• Shape pricing and contracting approaches, including innovative and managed‑entry schemes.
• Prepare the portfolio for launch through early payer engagement and evidence planning.
• Monitor market, regulatory and policy trends and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field; advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of pharmaceutical experience in Gulf markets, with at least 2 years in market access.
• Deep knowledge of UAE pricing, reimbursement and healthcare ecosystem.
• Proven track record in payer engagement, reimbursement submissions and access negotiations.
• Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is advantageous.
