Senior Onshore Construction Engineer – Electrical & Instrument (Subsea Cable & Piping)

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Onshore Construction Engineer specialized in Electrical & Instrumentation for its Well Head Tower/Subsea Cable & Piping project in Abu Dhabi. The role will be based in the client or contractor office and focuses on delivering high‑value brownfield modification and FEED/EPC work for a mega oil‑and‑gas project.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onshore construction activities for electrical and instrumentation systems related to well‑head towers and subsea cable & piping.
• Coordinate brownfield modification works and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Support FEED and EPC phases for projects exceeding US$1 billion, overseeing design, procurement, and installation.
• Collaborate with ADNOC and other stakeholders to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• At least 5 years of experience on ADNOC projects.
• 5 + years in a similar senior role on FEED/EPC projects larger than US$1 billion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
