Senior Patient Safety And Quality Officer

About the role

The Senior Patient Safety & Quality Officer will support the Patient Safety & Quality team in managing and executing safety and quality initiatives across the organization. This role ensures that patient safety events are monitored, analysed and that improvement projects are effectively implemented to promote a culture of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate patient safety events and incidents.
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate closely with the PSQ Manager/Assistant Manager and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Track progress of initiatives and ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in patient safety and quality assurance within a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with safety protocols, regulatory standards and quality improvement methodologies.
• Ability to provide operational support and coordinate with various clinical teams.
• Strong analytical mindset to interpret safety data and drive improvements.
