Senior Product Designer

About the role

Careem is building an Everything App for the Middle East, combining rides, food, groceries, payments and more. As a Senior Product Designer you will shape the design strategy for a major area of this super‑app, working at scale across multiple verticals and delivering high‑impact experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design for a feature area, from concept through launch, aligning with commercial KPIs.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and design leadership to define vision, clarify requirements and resolve dependencies.
• Deliver comprehensive UI specifications, including states, edge cases, dark mode, localisation and RTL support.
• Work fluently with Careem’s design system, extending it when necessary while maintaining consistency.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools to accelerate prototyping and testing, ensuring rapid iteration.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience designing complex, multi‑product digital experiences.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expertise in modern UI/UX design tools and workflows.
• Experience applying AI‑driven design processes.
• Deep understanding of design systems and component‑based design.
