Senior Quantity Surveyor – Pre‑Contract Buildings

About the role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its UAE team. You will work on newly awarded projects across hospitality, residential, building and infrastructure sectors, delivering cost‑control and valuation expertise on high‑profile developments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑contract quantity surveying activities for large‑scale projects.
• Perform re‑measurements, cost control and valuation of site‑wide works.
• Manage variations, change orders and commercial negotiations.
• Prepare technical reports, WIR/MIR documentation and progress validations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present findings to clients and consultants.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience, with at least 5 years on government or major UAE programmes.
• Proven background in consultancy or client‑side roles (minimum 4 years).
• Strong analytical, measurement and reporting abilities.
• Experience on giga‑projects or large infrastructure developments is an advantage.
