Senior Sales Executive / Business Development - Freight Forwarding

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive / Business Development professional to drive growth in the UAE freight forwarding market. The role will focus on acquiring new customers, expanding existing accounts and delivering revenue targets across sea, air and land logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities within the UAE freight forwarding and logistics market.
• Conduct cold calls, sales visits, client meetings and networking activities to acquire new customers.
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers, targeting importers, exporters, manufacturers, traders and other logistics‑dependent businesses.
• Present the company’s freight forwarding services and negotiate commercially to secure profitable contracts.
• Promote sea, air and land freight solutions, identify cross‑selling and upselling opportunities, and increase volumes from existing customers.
• Maintain regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and uncover further business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, freight rates and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution after sales closure.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding sales with a proven track record of new business development.
• Strong knowledge of the UAE freight forwarding market and an existing customer network is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills with a customer‑focused approach.
• Commercial awareness and ability to achieve sales targets.
