Senior Site Engineer – Civil (Power Generation)

About the role

SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Senior Site Engineer – Civil to join the Owner’s Engineer team for a confidential power generation IPP project in Dubai. The role involves supervising civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with design and contract requirements, and supporting the project through construction, commissioning and warranty phases.

Key responsibilities

• Review civil design documents, drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs and material submittals.
• Supervise civil works including earthworks, foundations, concrete works, buildings, drainage, roads, underground services and site infrastructure.
• Monitor EPC contractor activities for compliance with approved drawings, contract terms, quality standards and HSE procedures.
• Identify and address construction issues, non‑conformities, delays and site constraints.
• Coordinate with civil inspectors, discipline engineers, QA/QC teams and the EPC contractor.
• Support site meetings, progress reviews, punch‑list preparation and close‑out activities.
• Review inspection records, daily reports, as‑built drawings and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10–12 years of civil site engineering experience, preferably in power generation, utilities, industrial plants or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, foundations, concrete, buildings and site infrastructure.
• Experience in QA/QC and construction supervision.
• Previous Owner’s Engineer or consultant‑side experience is preferred.
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
