Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, availability, and security of mission‑critical platforms across Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and air‑gapped Rancher RKE2 clusters. The role works closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to maintain high‑availability systems in both cloud and on‑premises environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise Kubernetes platforms (AKS and Rancher RKE2) to meet strict SLAs.
• Automate deployments and operational processes using Python, Go, Bash, Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.
• Implement GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and Kustomize across cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Manage container supply chains, including private registry mirroring and image scanning for connected and disconnected environments.
• Monitor infrastructure and applications with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Lead incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews.
• Develop and enforce best practices for reliability, security, compliance, and platform governance.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and use ITSM tools for incident, problem, and change management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud, networking, and security.
