Senior Specialist – Financial Crime Analytics

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, enhancement and optimisation of compliance and financial crime systems, models and data initiatives.
• Coordinate system, model and data initiatives, gathering requirements and collaborating with IT for delivery.
• Develop, test, deploy and enhance AML and financial crime models, including validation and performance monitoring.
• Monitor system performance, thresholds and alerts, escalating issues and preparing management reports.
• Recommend and implement improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience in financial crime systems, transaction monitoring or screening within banking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.
• Professional certification in AML, financial crime compliance or model risk management (e.g., CAMS, ICA, CFCS).
