Senior Waiter/Waitress – Fish Beach Taverna

About the role

The Senior Waiter/Waitress leads the service team at Fish Beach Taverna, ensuring guests receive seamless, high‑quality dining experiences. This role combines staff supervision, operational oversight, and direct guest interaction to uphold Le Méridien’s standards of service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate front‑of‑house staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming, attire, and overall presentation, correcting deficiencies as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the venue.
• Maintain storage organization using FIFO principles and conduct regular inventories.
• Monitor dining room seating, safety, and guest well‑being throughout service periods.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant food‑and‑beverage experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
