SEO & AI Search Executive

About the role

GymNation, the Middle East’s fastest‑growing fitness brand, is looking for a hands‑on SEO & AI Search Executive to ensure the company appears first across traditional search engines, answer engines and emerging generative AI platforms. You will work closely with content, CRM, tech and performance marketing teams to drive organic visibility for a network of 50+ gyms across three countries.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day SEO of gymnation.com, including technical health, on‑page optimisation, schema implementation and content brief creation.
• Run regular technical audits using Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush and Google Search Console, and communicate prioritized fixes to the development team.
• Write and optimise page titles, meta descriptions, H1 tags and on‑page copy, briefing the content team based on search intent.
• Develop GymNation’s presence on AI answer engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews (AEO & GEO).
• Track rankings, AI citations and brand mentions, delivering share‑of‑voice reports with clear narratives.
• Manage local SEO for all 50+ locations, including Google Business Profiles, Tripadvisor listings, NAP consistency and directory/backlink acquisition.
• Leverage AI tools and Claude Code to accelerate audits, content briefs, reporting and routine analysis.
• Monitor algorithm and AI‑search updates, supporting SEO foundations for new market launches.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of proven SEO experience with measurable organic growth, preferably in a consumer brand, e‑commerce, multi‑location retail or subscription business.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving environment.
