Site Nurse – Construction Site Healthcare

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Site Nurse to deliver primary healthcare services on our construction site in the UAE. The role involves providing immediate first‑aid, managing medical emergencies, maintaining health records and promoting workplace wellness in line with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑aid and emergency medical treatment to employees and visitors on‑site.
• Assess injuries and illnesses, determine need for further medical care or hospitalization.
• Maintain accurate medical records and administer prescribed medications within scope of practice.
• Coordinate emergency response, arrange ambulance services and conduct regular inspections of first‑aid kits.
• Support occupational health and safety programs, conduct health awareness sessions and assist with pre‑employment and periodic medical examinations.
• Collaborate with the HSE team to investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with DHA/MOH/DOH regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing.
• Valid DHA, MOH or DOH nursing license (or eligibility to obtain).
• 2‑3 years of nursing experience, preferably in construction, industrial or occupational health settings.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an advantage.
• Strong communication, ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – optional.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
