Skywards Commercial Controller (Air Partners) – 6-Month Contract

About the role

Emirates Skywards is looking for a Commercial Controller to manage airline partner relationships, drive revenue, and enhance the member experience. This 6‑month contract role will focus on monitoring partnership performance, developing business cases, and supporting the launch of new offers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse the performance of existing airline partnerships to ensure agreements are competitive and profitable.
• Track commercial, redemption and ancillary revenue, evaluate payouts, and maintain financially feasible margins.
• Work with the Skywards Analytics team to improve dashboards and ensure data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain partner relationships, overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the airline partnership portfolio.
• Grow airline and loyalty revenue through increased customer engagement and enhanced member experiences.
• Update internal and external communication channels to keep information accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Address partner or member inquiries, technical failures, billing issues, and fraudulent activities.
• Gather data and build business cases to estimate revenue, costs, and margins for new partnership propositions.
• Prepare presentations and forecasts for Skywards Deal Reviews.
• Collaborate with Analytics, Finance, Legal, Strategy Enablement, and Revenue Optimisation teams to ensure smooth launch processes.
• Research market trends and provide innovative suggestions.
• Support the Partnership Manager with ad‑hoc projects and analysis.

Required profile

• Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 + years experience in commercial, sales or related functions.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to build business cases.
• Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and results.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven relationship‑management skills and ability to work to a high standard in a fast‑paced environment.
