Solutions Architect – Middle East & North Africa

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Solutions Architect to join its Customer Solutions team for the Middle East and North Africa (MENAT) region. Based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you will partner with customers, sales, and internal AWS teams to design scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud solutions that address business challenges and accelerate AWS adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales organization to develop and execute strategies that drive revenue through AWS adoption.
• Design and guide the migration of applications, workloads, and services to the AWS platform.
• Conduct technical workshops, one‑to‑few and one‑to‑many training sessions, and share best‑practice knowledge with customers and the AWS solutions architect community.
• Produce customer‑facing content such as whitepapers and technical guides.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders and act as a liaison between customers, service engineering, and support teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software or technology sales, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business value.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently while traveling 25‑50 % across the Middle East.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud architecture design.
