Sommelier – Delilah Supper Club

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a Sommelier to join the Delilah Supper Club beverage team. The role focuses on delivering exceptional wine service in a luxury fine‑dining environment and supporting the overall beverage program.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, communicate their needs, and ensure seamless service coordination with kitchen and management.
• Maintain complete knowledge of the food menu, wine list, beer list and cocktail offerings, and present them expertly to guests.
• Conduct regular beverage inventory checks, update bin locations, and monitor pour levels to minimise waste.
• Train and mentor staff on wine service techniques, presentation, and beverage knowledge.
• Lead occasional wine‑focused classes and events for guests and team members.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 21 years.
• 1–2 years of wine service experience in a fine‑dining or luxury hospitality setting.
• Basic sommelier certification (e.g., WSET Level 2) preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible schedule with ability to work shifts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Wine inventory control and cellar maintenance.
