Spare Parts Manager (Cranes, Heavy Equipment)

About the role

One of our key clients in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Spare Parts Manager to lead the parts department for cranes and heavy‑lifting equipment. The role is responsible for ensuring the right parts are available at the right time, supporting service operations and controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical crane components and conduct regular audits.
• Monitor stock levels, trigger timely replenishment and develop optimisation strategies to reduce carrying costs.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers, monitor performance, pricing and lead times.
• Lead and develop a team of warehouse staff and inventory controllers, set objectives and ensure health‑safety compliance.
• Collaborate with service and maintenance teams to provide parts availability, troubleshoot issues and communicate lead times.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years (120 months) of experience in spare parts management for cranes or heavy equipment.
• Strong technical knowledge of crane mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Proven leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to meet service requirements.
