Specialist Consultant – Intensive Care (UAE)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Consultant in Intensive Care to join leading hospitals across the UAE. The role involves delivering comprehensive critical care to medically and surgically complex patients in high‑acuity environments.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage critically ill patients in ICU settings.
• Provide advanced organ support, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Manage sepsis, respiratory failure, shock, multi‑organ dysfunction and other life‑threatening conditions.
• Perform emergency stabilization, resuscitation and assist with critical care procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency physicians, surgeons, anesthesiologists and cardiologists.
• Participate in ICU rounds, clinical discussions and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Anesthesiology or related specialty (MD/DNB/FCPS/FRCA).
• UK CCT in Intensive Care Medicine or equivalent recognized specialist qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of post‑specialisation experience in intensive care.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and communication skills.
