About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is expanding its high‑acuity intensive care services. The role offers internationally trained critical care physicians the chance to work in a modern, quality‑driven environment managing complex, critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist‑level management of critically ill medical, surgical, trauma and postoperative patients in the ICU.
• Manage advanced organ support including mechanical ventilation, haemodynamic monitoring, renal replacement therapy coordination and sepsis management.
• Perform critical care procedures such as airway management, central venous access and invasive monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds and collaborate with consultants, nursing teams, respiratory therapists, pharmacists and allied health professionals.
• Support clinical decision‑making, patient and family communication, goals‑of‑care discussions and ethical care planning.
• Contribute to ICU protocols, infection prevention, clinical audits, simulation training, quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
