Specialist Gastroenterologist – Dubai

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, patient‑focused Specialist Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The role involves diagnosing, treating and managing a wide range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders while delivering evidence‑based, patient‑centred care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive consultations, medical histories and physical examinations for patients with GI conditions.
• Diagnose and manage disorders of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, liver, gallbladder and pancreas, including GERD, IBS, IBD, hepatitis and fatty liver disease.
• Request, interpret and correlate laboratory tests, imaging, endoscopy and histopathology results.
• Perform or assist with gastroenterology procedures within the physician’s licensed scope.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and communicate diagnoses, risks and follow‑up requirements to patients and families.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records and collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists and other specialists.
• Participate in clinical meetings, quality‑improvement initiatives and continuing professional development.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine with gastroenterology specialization.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain a Dubai professional license and meet UAE Professional Qualification Requirements.
• Relevant experience working as a Gastroenterology Specialist.
