Specialist Nephrologist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Specialist Nephrologist to join our leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering comprehensive care for patients with kidney and renal disorders while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases, including glomerular disorders and electrolyte abnormalities.
• Provide care for patients requiring dialysis and renal replacement therapy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure ongoing follow‑up.
• Review and interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and renal function tests.
• Coordinate pre‑ and post‑transplant evaluations when applicable.
• Collaborate with urologists, intensivists, cardiologists and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in clinical audits and quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and families about renal health and treatment options.

Required profile

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Nephrology.
• Relevant experience as a Specialist Nephrologist.
• DOH Abu Dhabi medical license or eligibility.
• Valid professional registration and Good Standing Certificate.
• Strong clinical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
