Specialist Physician – Neurology

About the role

The Abu Dhabi Region seeks an experienced Specialist Physician in Neurology to deliver high‑quality patient care and support departmental initiatives. The role combines clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities within the neurology division.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat neurological patients according to best‑practice standards.
• Oversee junior medical staff, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
• Participate in performance management, peer review, and productivity assessments.
• Assist the Division Chief with scheduling, recruitment, and administrative duties.
• Lead ward rounds, review investigations, adjust treatment plans, and document clinical information promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and other specialties to coordinate holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, SEHA regulations, and licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Neurology.
• Board certification (American Board, CCT UK, Australian Board, or equivalent Western board).
• Minimum 5 years of post‑specialization experience in Neurology.
• Current national medical license and valid DOH registration.
• Proof of yearly CME participation.
