Staff Nurse – Interventional Radiology

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Staff Nurse to join its Interventional Radiology unit. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, applying evidence‑based nursing practices to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Complete timely patient admissions, assessments, and update care plans based on individual needs.
• Deliver direct nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and document outcomes.
• Provide family‑centered education, respecting cultural considerations and ensuring understanding.
• Administer prescribed medications using barcode scanning and follow approved protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address patient health needs and promote patient safety.
• Report errors, near‑misses, and participate in evidence‑based practice improvements.
• Complete charge capture and in‑service training documentation within Epic.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
• Valid national nursing license and successful completion of the NCLEX‑RN or Canadian licensing exam.
• Minimum two years post‑graduate experience in an Interventional Radiology setting.
• Current BLS certification.

Required skills

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
• Experience using barcode scanning for medication administration.
