Staff Nurse - Pediatric Inpatient Ward TP

About the role

The Pediatric Inpatient Ward seeks a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide age‑specific, patient‑centered care for children in a hospital setting. You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinating care plans, and supporting families throughout the treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments using age‑appropriate techniques and continuously monitor physical and psychological needs.
• Develop, revise, and coordinate individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and ensure safe handling of controlled substances.
• Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care, including basic life support during codes until the code team arrives.
• Document all relevant data in the medical record and maintain unit supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent) and registration as a Registered Nurse in the home country.
• Minimum of two years recent post‑graduate experience in a pediatric ward.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and up‑to‑date clinical competencies.
• Ability to assess and address both patient and family physical and psychological needs.
