Staff Nurse – Surgical Wing (Tower C7)

About the role

The Staff Nurse will work in the Surgical Wing (Tower C7) of SSMC, providing coordinated nursing care, direct patient treatment, education and smooth transitions of care. The role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care while upholding the mission, vision and values of the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families and the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all care components and modifications in the patient’s health record.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and maintain a working knowledge of available resources.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Strong ability to assess and prioritise patient needs and identify potential risks.
• Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous evaluation of patient response.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with cultural sensitivity.
