Staff Physician, Neurologist (Brain Health / Cognitive Neurology)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is seeking a Staff Physician specialized in Neurology with a focus on brain health and cognitive disorders. The successful candidate will join the Neurological Institute to diagnose, prevent and treat neurological conditions in a multicultural, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and provide direct patient care within the Neurological Institute.
• Prescribe and administer medication, therapy and specialized medical interventions.
• Analyse medical records, reports and test results to establish diagnoses.
• Gather comprehensive patient histories and discuss treatment options.
• Perform procedures or operations as required for specific neurological conditions.
• Document patient evaluations and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary medical and non‑medical staff to ensure quality care.
• Deliver culturally appropriate and sensitive patient services.
• Participate in administrative duties, committees and performance‑improvement initiatives.
• Provide on‑call inpatient coverage as needed.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) with a recognised neurology qualification.
• Valid medical licence/registration in the home country or last place of employment.
• Minimum two years (Tier 1) or five years (Tier 2) post‑qualification experience.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Demonstrated experience in brain health or cognitive neurology.
