Strategy Consultant – Oil & Gas

About the role

Hartree Partners Consulting is looking for a Strategy Consultant to support its Oil & Gas clients across the GCC and global markets. The role involves delivering strategic analysis, advising national and international oil companies, and contributing to business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client outreach and business development activities, building relationships with senior stakeholders in the energy sector.
• Independently manage workstreams, including data analysis, market research, and the preparation of strategic recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop capital efficiency and asset development strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant experience at a top‑tier consulting firm (e.g., 6 months for Business Analyst, 2 years for Consultant, or senior engagement manager level for senior roles).
• Previous engagements with oil & gas companies, especially national oil companies, are highly valued.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex issues and present clear solutions.
