Summer Internship – Urban Designer & Landscape Architect

About the role

Join Gensler's UAE office for a full‑time, paid summer internship focused on urban design and landscape architecture. The start date is flexible, but you must commit to at least three months.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams on real projects, participating in charrettes and client deliverables.
• Attend educational sessions, lunch‑and‑learns, in‑house training and possible vendor visits.
• Engage in firm‑wide events that support professional licensure and community building.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Architecture (completed third year of undergrad or first year of graduate).
• Returning to studies after the internship and graduating within one year.
• Portfolio (PDF, 2‑4 samples) demonstrating design process and innovative solutions.

Required skills

• Revit (required)
• AutoCAD and/or BIM modeling software
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• SketchUp, 3ds Max or other 3D rendering tools
• Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Hand sketching (a plus)
