Supplier Quality Engineer

About the role

The Supplier Quality Engineer will ensure that all incoming materials and components meet the required quality standards. Working closely with suppliers and internal cross‑functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement, corrective actions, and compliance with specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in supplier process reviews, quality audits, and control plan development.
• Conduct process capability studies, gage studies, and other milestone events.
• Lead supplier qualification, selection, and quality assessments.
• Develop, analyze, and report quality performance metrics for suppliers.
• Identify improvement opportunities, drive corrective actions, and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Track Supplier Corrective Action Requests to successful implementation.
• Resolve quality issues with suppliers and ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to guarantee incoming material quality.
• Mentor production operators and promote QHSE best practices on the shop floor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier quality or related field.
• UAE driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards such as ISO 9001.
• Ability to work safely on the shop floor and adhere to HSE policies.
