Supply & Inventory Planner – Global After‑Sales

About the role

The Supply & Inventory Planner is a key member of Al Futtaim Automotive's Global After‑Sales team, responsible for managing inventory valued at around USD 100 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role balances inventory costs with service levels, ensuring parts availability for new models and after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily, weekly and monthly purchase orders, ensuring timely transmission to suppliers and confirmation of dispatch.
• Monitor back‑orders, run‑out risks and excess/obsolete stock, and initiate disposal of dead stock.
• Prepare budgets, obtain approvals per delegation of authority, and coordinate logistics operations including advance shipping notifications, customs claims and letters of credit.
• Create dashboards, lead Kaizen projects and advise on inventory control actions to reduce operational costs.
• Continuously review system parameters, alerts and demand forecasts to improve service levels and productivity.

Required profile

• UAE national with experience in supply chain, inventory planning or procurement.
• Proven ability to manage high‑value inventory and conduct risk analysis for stock run‑out.
• Strong coordination skills with logistics, finance and supplier teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting, approval processes and agile ways of working.
